Then I started reading labels.
The Moment Everything Changed
It wasn't one dramatic discovery. It was a slow accumulation of information. A study I stumbled across about sodium lauryl sulfate. An article about synthetic fragrance and phthalates. A conversation with a client who had switched to plant-based products and couldn't stop talking about how different it felt.
I started asking: if I wouldn't eat this, why am I spraying it on surfaces my children touch? If I wouldn't put this on my skin, why am I mopping it onto the floors my family walks barefoot every day?
I didn't have a good answer. So I decided to change the question.

I spent months researching plant-based surfactants, pH chemistry, essential oil safety, and preservative systems. I tested formulas. I made batches. I mopped my own floors, washed my own dishes, sprayed my own counters with what I'd made — and felt the difference.
